Amish Custard Pie

Ingredients:
1/3 c Sugar
2 ts Flour
1/2 ts Salt
3 Eggs
3 C Milk
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1 9" unbaked pie shell

Combine sugar, flour, salt and eggs and mix until smooth.
Heat milk to boiling point. Add 1 cup of the hot milk to the egg mixture. Pour that into the
remaining hot milk.
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle nutmeg over top.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45-60 minutes.
A good way to tell when it's done is to insert a knife in the middle and pull it back out. If it
comes out clean, your custard pie is done.
