Yellow Cake Mix Recipes

Pineapple Yellow Cake Mix Recipe

Ingredients:

1 box of yellow cake mix (1 layer size)
1 20-oz can of crushed pineapples
2 cups of chilled milk
1 box of instant vanilla pudding mix (4 ounce size)
8 oz. of softened cream cheese, whipped
12 oz. of whipped cream (something like Cool Whip)
chopped nuts or shredded coconut for garnishing

In a 9" by 13" prepare the yellow cake mix according to the instructions on the box and bake it.

After your cake is done baking, use a fork to pierce it in various places. You want enough holes poked in it to let the juices from the canned pineapple run into it. Pour the crushed pineapple along with the juices right over the cake.

In a small mixing bowl, blend together the instant vanilla pudding mix and the cold milk and thoroughly mix them together. After that, mix in the softened whipped cream cheese and blend everything together well.

Spread this mixture over the crushed pineapple which is on top of the cake.

Put the whipped cream topping over the top of the crushed pineapple.

You can now garnish the cake with your favorite topping such as chopped nuts; walnuts, pecans, almonds, etc., or something like shredded coconut - whatever you enjoy that would go well with the other ingredients.
